With our son’s wedding reception looming on the horizon, we found ourselves in the need of supplying a bottle of premium Chinese liquor on every table in the dinner hall. Twelve tables in all. 5 Days 16 Hours

Häagen-Dazs – your table is ready

From my hometown in America, Häagen-Dazs is an afterthought in a mall attached to a cookie vendor storefront. Order a scoop in a cup or cone and go. Here it is a dinning experience. The restaurant was packed, but few were eating. Most people were sitting and chatting or talking on their cell phones. We stood in line and were assigned a number. Welcome to Shanghai!

Our brother in-law says that ever time we come here to visit. And this was no exception. The only difference this time was that we are now here to stay!
