I know you all are just as excited as me! It’s my FIRST Birthday! And I’ve done and been through a lot of exciting stuff! So, to commemorate, my Caretakers, Love and Food, have put together a slide show of my past year with them and all the exciting things I’ve done. It’s a mere 56 slides. Today is our wonderful 9th Wedding Anniversary!!! So, with a dozen beautiful fresh red roses, I took my lovely wife out to dinner. We went to a little new Taiwanese Hot Pot restaurant called “Gong Bao”. It’s nestled under the steps of the Shanghai Stadium right outside of CenturyMart convenience store. We had a wonderful dinner. Just the two of us. And the restaurant was very clean and professional – although they did have problems keeping the place cool with it being 95 outside and all the hot pots boiling away inside. Anyway, thought we’d share!
This is just some random thoughts and topics all clumped together ’cause each is not large enough to warrant its own posting. It’s been a busy, interesting week. Just What Do You Serve? Two days! Two days to find Red Roosters Bar-B-Que House! And it was right across the street from us! Ah the anticipation of authentic American BBQ!! The promise! The desire! The enjoyment! The heartbreak… Sadly, they stopped serving and BBQ dishes last year. Major Sigh. And major ARGH!! I told them they need to change their sign. While I can say from personal experience, air quality has greatly improved over the past 10 years, there are still some bad days. Luckily, there’s an app for that! The Air Quality app from Google Play store shows international standards air quality from many cities around China and multiple sampling centers within each city. As you can see in this report over the last 30 days, its been pretty good some days, and kinda bad others.
