2014 Flower Show

Just last week the weather was nice, not too hot, not too cold, and a little overcast. It was perfect for going exploring outdoors and taking pictures. A few weeks earlier, the 2014 Flower Show at the Shanghai Botanical Gardens opened. Being it was a Friday, and most people were at work, and it had already been a while since it started, we figured that was the best time to go and miss the crowds. Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center

The other day, whilst out browsing the coinage at the China Gold Coin store, my wife and I realized we were right across the street from the Shanghai Urban Planning and Exhibition Center. As this was on our list of places to visit in Shanghai, we decided to trundle on over and have a look. Our last attempt to visit this center was thwarted as they happened to be closed. Temple of Peace and Tranquility

Even though located in the middle bustling Shanghai, the Jing’an Temple was indeed Peaceful and Tranquil. Today, my lovely wife and I visited this temple while the water tanks in our apartment building were being cleaned – thus we were without water most of the day. 5 Days 16 Hours

That’s how long it took. Leave one life and start another. Of course we’re only talking about this physical journey here. That’s me, Thor, from the Thor’s Days blog site.
